KISTEP conducts ‘the 4th KISTEP research paper contest’ to develop and expand great works of papers related to science and technology.

The areas of collecting papers for the contest consist of ▷ Science and technology policy and planning (research on policy for fostering and supporting human resources in science and engineering / research on policy for fostering regional R&D / research on policy for efficiency and specialized research of government-funded research institutes) ▷ Technology forecasting (development of future promising technology and future society prospects / evaluation method of technology level) ▷ Investment strategy (analysis of national and international R&D policy trends for each technology area / establishment method of priority ranking) ▷ R&D program evaluation (method of program evaluation) ▷ Global cooperation (global movement of high-quality research human resources / International joint R&D research).

The best paper will win a prize worth KRW 5 million and a certificate of award, and two excellent papers will each win a prize worth KRW 2 million and a certificate of award. The best paper ed will be presented at ‘the international symposium of Asian Research Policy (hereinafter called as ‘ARP’),’ and will be appeared on the September edition of ARP which is an English journal published by KISTEP, after the editors meeting.
