NSTC and KISTEP held the 3rd S&T Future Forum at the Koreana Hotel on November 13. The topic was S&T policy challenges (proposals) to boost people’s satisfaction and enhance the national vitality from the perspectives of NSTC. The forum began with the opening remarks by Im Gi-cheol, a permanent member of the NSTC and the welcoming remarks by KISTEP President Lee June-seung.
Prior to the panel discussion, Jang Jin-gyu, director of Science & Technology Bureau of National Science and Technology Commission, delivered a speech on the policy challenges to meet the expectations of the people and to shore up the national vitality. Lee Jun-sik, Executive Vice President of the Seoul National University led an expert discussion on the six major policy challenges to increase people’s satisfaction followed by a Q/A session participated by the general public.
