KISTEP Offered the Invitational Training to the Cambodian Public Officials

The training was a part of the ‘Cambodia Science and Technology Master-plan Establishment Project’ since December 2011 by KISTEP and to help them prepare the ground for the nation’s development model and the socioeconomic independence based on the science and technology through establishing the national science and technology system in Cambodia where has no concerning policies and R&D to lead the industrial development.
Meanwhile, KISTEP completed providing the ICT equipment and establishing the application system, opened the Cambodia Science and Technology and Information Center in March, and prepared for its specialty organization establishment relating laws and the draft of the Cambodia Science and Technology Promotion Act. In April and October last year, KISTEP also trained ten of the country’s senior executive services to enhance their science and technology competences in Seoul.
The third training this time consisted of the lectures on the Korean science and technology development history and innovation system, the roles of the science and technology organizations, outlines and establishing plans of the science and technology basic plans, the budget and evaluation systems, and the overview and methodologies of the national R&D project research and analysis, visiting work sites including the Rural Development Administration National Institute of Crop Science and Samsung Electronics, and experiencing the Korean culture.
