KISTEP invited Professor Kwanggook Park, the Department of Public Administration, the Catholic University of Korea, as the lecturer, and held a special lecture under the topic of ‘Government 3.0, the Hit Brand of the Park Geun-hye Government: What is to be done and how?’ in the morning, January 13.
 
This special lecture held for the second time following the one in the last year was arranged in order to share the value of Government 3.0 and grope for the action plans of KISTEP, an institute specialized in planning and evaluation of science and technology R&D, through understanding of the visions and the tasks to be intensively promoted.

In the lecture, Professor Park explained the promotion background, concept, tasks to be promoted, and the content of Government 3.0. He also introduced the cases of cooperation between Korea Customs Service and National Tax Service, and Spatial Information Open Platform of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport, as the representative cases of Government 3.0. Professor Park said, "The government that resolves national policy issues and provides the people with the customized services they want in accordance with the demand of each individual through government operation system innovation of eliminating the partitions between departments and between the central government and the local governments is the very core pursued by Government 3.0."
