Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and KISTEP held the public hearing about "The Innovative Measure for The Government Research & Development System to Accomplish a Creative Economy' at ElTower, Yangjae-dong on May 27.

This innovative measure carries out a challenging research through the opening and the cooperation based on the creative ideas, and by connecting its result to a business formation and a venture business, it will connect the investment on research and development to the creation of economic and social value, which in turn will drastically improve the effectiveness of government research & development.

This public hearing proceeded by the order, starting with the opening address by Hangsik Park, a president General of Creative Economy in Future Planning Department and followed by the presentation of innovative measure for the creative economy type research and development system by Sungku Han, a director of S&T Policy and Planning of KISTEP.

Director Han introduced the practical tasks of ▲ strengthening the stable long-term research over ten years, ▲ developing a technology of market orientated type, ▲ establishing an interconnecting system of foundation-source-development & research without partitions, and ▲ supporting an imaginative research & development for citizens.
