KISTEP has announced top ten emerging technologies that will have great economic impact in Korea within the next 10 years.
The KISTEP Top Ten emerging Technologies research, of which this year is the fourth anniversary, aims to create economic added-value while reducing social opportunity cost by analyzing and predicting major future technologies from diverse perspectives.
The characteristic of 2012 ion method is that priority was given to the anticipated economic impact of the technologies that are currently being researched as identified through interviews with S&T experts.
The technologies are: ▶Cancer biomarker analysis technology ▶Real-time automatic voice translation technology ▶Spin transistor ▶Microbial fuel cell ▶Vaccine for super flu ▶Superconductive transmission technology ▶Digital holography technology ▶Bio plastic ▶4G+ mobile communication technology ▶Environmentally friendly natural pesticide.
