Overview

KISTEP establishes a platform for effective networking and knowledge exchange in STI with diverse international communities, countries, and organizations. Also, KISTEP provides STI policy training programs to share experiences on STI-driven national development to promote inclusive growth.

• Establishing a global cooperation platform and strengthening national S&T diplomatic capacities with diverse stakeholders and international organizations  
  • Identifying global S&T issues and sharing S&T agendas for future generations through international collaborations
  • Promoting major acheivements of KISTEP to global society through international meetings and publications
      
• Sharing the experiences from STI-driven national development in Korea by providing STI policy training programs and offering consultation to design S&T policies and strategies to promote inclusive growth  
  • Organizing ‘STI Policy Training Program for High Level Policy Makers’ in collaboration with ISTIC (International S&T Innovation Center for South-South Cooperation Under the Auspices of UNESCO) since 2009
  • Sharing knowledge and experience on designing and implementation of STI policies by providing consultations
