KISTEP signed the MOU on Science and Technology with Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research(KISR) on March 14, 2012, in Kuwait.
Through this agreement, both organizations plan to implement in-depth cooperative measures including mutual exchange of research manpower, joint researches, and R&D education and training on planning, coordination, evaluation, innovation policy of national science and technology.
Before the contract of the MOU, both organizations had held the ‘working-level workshop on policy, coordination, and evaluation fields of science and technology’ between 13 and 15 of March in Kuwait and had discussed a wide range of cooperative measures.
Korea Institute of Energy Research also attended the workshop and exchanged information on both countries’ research status on the new & renewable energy, energy efficiency, etc.
