S&T Consulting Contract for the 3rd Year between KISTEP and Kazakhstan NATD

At the end of June, KISTEP made a consulting contract with National Agency for Technological Development (NATD) of Kazakhstan to plan the Kazakhstan version of G7 project.
Since September 2010, KISTEP has conducted the consulting project to design the basic system of science and technology policy worth 380,000 USD with National Innovation Fund (NIF) of Kazakhstan which is a former organization of NATD.
As for the first year, the vision and goal of science and technology to prepare for the future were established. For the second year, through the consulting for the ‘IDEA 2020’, which was the first technological forecasting implemented at the state level to prepare the next 10 years in Kazakhstan, 63 future technologies in 7 categories were drawn.
Through this third year’s agreement, by the end of this year KISTEP will plan 10 fostering projects for strategic technology to create future growth engine of Kazakhstan together with NATD.
