KISTEP is offering educational training to high executive officials of Cambodia to enhance their competence in the area of science and technology for 5 days until October 19, 2012. 

The education is part of ‘the Cambodia S&T Master Plan Establishment Project’ that KISTEP was awarded by KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) at the end of 2011. Eleven directors from the Cambodian departments of economy, IT, energy and agriculture are participating in the program.

Lectures are given on the planning and evaluation of national research and development projects, the establishment of an organization focusing on S&T development, legal systems for S&T development and the cooperation between Korea and Cambodia in the areas of basic industries and agriculture. Participants will also have chances to visit Daedeok Innopolis, KIST, ETRI and Samsung Electronics Corporation. They will spare some time to experience Korean culture, too.
