WRR delegates paid a visit to KISTEP

Delegates from the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR) visited KISTEP on May 11.
WRR is an agency of the Ministry of General Affairs, the Netherlands and plays the role of the national think-tank of the country. As an advisory council for comprehensive government policies, WRR plays the role of a bridge between science and national policy making.

Upon arrival at KISTEP, the delegates met with President Lee June-Seung and Vice President Park Goon-Cherl, shared Korea’s industrial technology & knowhow and learned what efforts Korea is making to accomplish a policy harmony between the most sophisticated R&D and pro-corporate policies. Both parties then had in-depth discussions about ways to cooperate for a reduction in the dependency on fossil fuels.
