Korea-China-Japan, Tri-Lateral Symposium on Strategy for Future Growth

Hosted by National Science & Technology Commission and co-organized by KISTEP and Commission on Science and Technology of the Federation of Korean Industries, ‘Korea-China-Japan Symposium on Strategy for Future Growth’ was held at the Plaza Hotel Seoul’ on September 20. The symposium was held under the theme of ‘Ways to Create New Future Growth Potential through a Combination of S&T and Economic Mind’ and was attended by over 200 experts in economy and S&T of Korea, China and Japan.
Amid a global economic crisis, the symposium was designed to look into new roles of S&T in the enhancement of national industrial competitiveness and the creation of new technologies and markets and to seek ways to create stable sources of future income among the experts of the three countries in the areas of economy and science and technology.
