The 4th KISTEP International Symposium on Future Forecasting

KISTEP held the 4th international symposium on future forecasting at the Plaza Hotel Seoul on October 26. More than 300 experts and people involved in future forecasting attended the symposium hosted by KISTEP and sponsored by National Science and Technology Commission.
The symposium began with the opening address delivered by Park Goon-Cherl, Vice President of KISTEP followed by congratulatory remarks by Hwang Chang-Gyu, leader of Office of Strategic R&D Planning of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and the key-note speech by Timothy M. Persons, Director of Center for Science, Technology and Engineering of the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), entitled ‘The U.S. S&T Governance Future Forecasting.’ The symposium then continued in two sessions.
