Public hearing on preliminary proposal for International Science Business Belt

Hosted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and co-organized by KISTEP, Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements and Science and Technology Policy Institute, the public hearing on the basic plan for international science business belt was held at The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies, Seoul, on November 25.
‘The Basic Plan for International Science Business Belt’ includes the major policies and projects that the government will promote for the next six years to create a science belt as a base for a new concept national development. The public hearing not only introduced the plan that has been prepared so far but sought to collect the opinions of the experts in S&T and industries and the perspectives of the relevant provincial governments and to reflect them in national policies.
