The 3rd KISTEP Advisory Committee

KISTEP held a KISTEP advisory committee at Renaissance Seoul Hotel on 12 December to discuss ‘KISTEP Strategic Plan 2014’ and major pending issues in the S&T circles.
Attended by KISTEP president and executives and 10 counselors, the meeting aimed at collecting the councilors’ opinions about policy issues in the field of S&T and the KISTEP development directions.
The meeting began with the opening address by president Lee June-Seung followed by the presentation of appointment letters to new councilors, the presentation by Son Byoung-Ho, KISTEP Director General of Office of Future Strategy on the subject of ‘KISTEP Strategic Plan 2014’ and a Q/A session.
12 people were appointed as KISTEP advisory counselors, including Gwak Jae-Won, science specialist reporter of the Jungang Ilbo, Kim Dae-Gyeong professor of Chung-Ang University, Na Kyoung-Hoan, President of Korea Institute of Industrial Technology, Yang Hui-Seung, professor of Sejong University, Jang Dong-Yeong, professor of Seoul National University of Science & Technology, Hwang In-hak, Senior Research Fellow of Korea Economic Research Institute.
