The public hearing on national R&D investment direction and standard plan for 2013 was hosted by National Science & Technology Commission, organized by KISTEP at College of Engineering, Seoul National University on March 30, 2012.

The hearing was planned to discuss how the national R&D should be implemented for the next year with experts from each field such as government ministries and industries-universities-institutes while the government has made great efforts to reinforce the national science and technology competitiveness by expanding the national R&D budget.

In particular, this year, an in-depth discussion for investment directions for each technology field was organized to strengthen professionalism and openness for establishing the government R&D investment direction.
