On April 30, 2012, KISTEP had a workshop with KABIC (Korean American Bio Industry Council) in Boston, US, and signed an MOU with KABIC for establishment of information exchange and collaboration system related to the Bio industry. KABIC is a Korean professionals group (www.kabic.org) that work in the bioscience and health & medical industries in Boston and Massachusetts, US.

With this agreement of collaboration as a momentum, both organizations plan to share knowledge and information in the biotechnology (new medicines and medical appliances) through seminars, forum, symposiums, conferences related to the bio industry.
