The ‘Forum on measures of expanding small and medium businesses R&D, and Local meeting for support of small and medium businesses R&D’ was held at SETEC on June 8, 2012, hosted by National Science & Technology Commission and organized by KISTEP.

At the forum, National Science & Technology Commission presented 16 major tasks such as the expansion of investment on small and medium businesses R&D, expansion of research manpower, reinforcement of supporting role of government-funded research institutes for small and medium businesses, and improvement of research management system as a small and medium businesses-friendly.

In addition, National Science & Technology Commission is scheduled to establish the ‘R&D investment direction for 2013’ by collecting opinions stated at the forum, and also plans to carry out the ‘Local meeting for support of small and medium businesses R&D’ continuously in order to communicate with the sites of small and medium businesses.
