On June 12, 2012, KISTEP and the Dong-A Science had an agreement ceremony on the joint project of Science Mecenat at The Plaza Hotel.

Science Mecenat project is a social project contributed by a national representative science media, the Dong-A Science, by supporting the interesting scientific experiment education, science books, kits and educational materials for experiments aimed at less favored areas and a neglected group of people at home and abroad.

In future, both organizations plan to jointly carry out the ‘Science Mecenat Campaign’ which is an activity contributed to the society by the Dong-A Science through the science and technology consulting for developing countries owned by KISTEP and the ODA project network.
