On June 26, 2012, KISTEP held ‘the 1st KISTEP Future Forum’ on our response level against future social risks at The Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies.

The KISTEP Future Forum was held as the first time aiming at raising awareness about major issues related to the future society and at seeking for their response directions.

At the forum, there were presentations on the global trends against social risks, and symptoms and countermeasures of social risks; our preparation level against social risks; representative future technologies responding to disasters; research trends on artificial disasters, and so on.
