On September 18, NSTC and KISTEP jointly inaugurated the S&T Policy Future Forum at the INNOPOLIS Foundation in Daejeon. More than 200 people from industries, schools and research institutes participated in the forum to discuss the direction for hat Korea’s S&T policies and the ideas to develop government-invested research institutes in the country. 

The forum will continue to be held until November in four sessions mainly to reorient the roles of S&T amid the changing environment at home and aboard and define the future directions of S&T in Korea.
