Forum on the Promotion (Proposal) of New S&T in connection with the Solution of Social Problems

On October 22, a forum was held at Novotel Ambassador Gangnam on the subject of strategies (proposals) to promote new science and technology to settle social problems.
The forum began with welcoming remarks by Jang Jin-gyu, director of Science & Technology Bureau of National Science and Technology Commission followed by a key-note speech and a panel discussion.
The panel deliberated on how to solve social problems directly related to the fortunes of the general public through science and technology and how S&T can better listen to the people’s voices and contribute to making the country a better place to live in.
