NSTC and KISTEP ed ‘The 2012 Outstanding Government R&D Results’ and held the exhibition of the results along with an awards ceremony at the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry on November 16.

The awards ceremony was attended by awardees and researchers. KISTEP President Lee June-seung delivered the opening remarks followed by the congratulatory remarks by Kim Do-yeon, chairman of NSTC. Prof. Kim Dae-gyeong, chairman of the ion committee, reported on the ion process.

Awardees were honored with certificates. Finally, Participants enjoyed the exhibition of the results.

This year, a total of 66 research results in five technological areas were chosen such as machinery & materials, marine biotechnology, energy & environmental engineering, information & electronics and basic infrastructure. The Top-5Honors were awarded to Agency for Defense Development, Yonsei University, KAIST, Korea University and Korea Institute of Construction Technology.
