In the domestic technology commercialization environment, many enterprises could not overcome so-called “Death valley” due to uncertainty over the success of commercialization, even they were successful in developing innovative technologies supported by government R&D fund.

To solve this problem, the institutes will analyze effectiveness of linkage supports of national R&D·financial policies to improve finance of innovative growth enterprises and to creation of jobs, in the entire period of ‘technology development → preparation for commercialization → success in commercialization.’ They will also prepare policy establishment·support system to promote financial policy support for innovative growth enterprises performing national R&D project, by providing effect analysis results to financial policy institutes using Innovation Growth Intelligence System (IGS) of KCIS.
*Innovation Growth Intelligence System (IGS): IT system to provide information of status of financial policy supports and performance analysis for innovative growth areas to financial policy institutes
** Financial policy institute: Korea Development Bank, Industrial Bank of Korea, The Export-Import Bank of Korea, The Credit Guarantee Fund, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Korea SMEs and Startup Agency, Korea Trade Insurance Corporation, Trust Guarantee Funds for Agricultural and Fisheries Businesses, Korea Growth Investment Corporation, Korea Venture Investment Corporation
