This May 13th, KISTEP held its 121st Wednesday Forum at the KISTEP International Conference Room to discuss strategies to create a data economy ecosystem and invigorate data economy to enhance national competitiveness in the era of data economy, in which data play the role as the growth engine. Under the theme of "R&I Innovation Strategies and Issues in the Era of Data Economy and Big Data," the forum was conducted via online with minimal onsite participants as a measure to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Sung-wook Park, a professor at Hanbat University, gave a presentation, and Sea Hong Oh, Director General of the Office of National R&D Evaluation and Analysis of KISTEP participated as a chair. Jong-min Yoon, a professsor of Chungbuk National University, Yong-chan Jung, director of the KISDI, and Yoon-been Lee, Director of the Center for Data Analysis Innovation of KISTEP, joined the panel discussion.
