'Platform on Science and Technology Policy for Social Problem Solving Naming Contest' Award Ceremony

On May 22nd, KISTEP held an award ceremony for the opening and platform naming contests for Platform on Science and Technology Policy for Social Problem Solving. (http://www.ntis.go.kr/scisoplatform) The platform is designed to provide definitions and information on various social problems and to seek solutions.
The various names that emphasized the social role of science and technology were proposed during the contest, and 16 names were selected to be awarded during the ceremony. The awarded names included Cider Lab (grand prize), Science History, Syrup, Soprano, Issue Lab, and Apple+ (excellence award). The ceremony opened with a congratulatory speech by President Sang Seon Kim of KISTEP, and followed by the introductions and demonstrations of services, brief on the progress of the contest, awards, luncheon and meetings.
The platform recently hosted the "KISTEP Social Problem Solving Untact Forum" on its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/scisoplatform) to explore the role of S&T in overcoming the COVID19 crisis.
