[The 126th KISTEP Wednesday Forum] Role of National R&D for Preparing the Future National Defense

On October 14th, KISTEP held its 126th KISTEP Wednesday Forum, themed “Role of National R&D for Preparing the Future National Defense”, to focus on the aspect of future war which is rapidly changing on account of advancement of S&T, and to discuss how national R&D deals with this issue.
 

President Sang-seon Kim (KISTEP) proposed the necessity to discuss how to connect high technology with national defence and how to cooperate with the private sector for a global business of national defence.

President Tae-gyu Ryu (ADD National Defence S&T Adacademy) gave a presentation, and the following panel discussion was hosted by Director Gil-woo Lee (KISTEP). The panels were Mr. Han Jeong (i3system Inc.), Director Chang-hee Moon (Korea Institute of Science & Technology , KIST) and Director Ji-ho Hwang (KISTEP).
