[The 128th KISTEP Wednesday Forum] Changes with Future City Community and Smart City

On November 25th, KISTEP held its 128th Wednesday Forum, themed “Changes with Future City Community and Smart City”, to discuss the right direction of rising cities’ competitiveness and a quality of live, and the role of governmental R&D.

President Sang-seon Kim (KISTEP) explained the government will invest KRW 10 trillion to the Smart City Project, one of K-New Deal Policy, by 2025. He emphasized the purpose of forum is on suggesting solutions for a smart city project to establish a reasonable government budget allocation policy.
Professor Gap-seong Kim (Yonsei University) gave a presentation, and the participants of following discussion was followings: (Host)Director General Gil-ho Lee (KISTEP), Managing Director Yeong-joon Moon (the Korea Transport Institute, KOTI), Professor Se-hyeon Park (Chung-ang University), Director Yeong-tae Jo (Land and Housing Institute).
