KISTEP은 개도국 협력사업 등 국제협력을 본격 확대해 우리나라가 보유한 과학기술 정책 노하우와 경험을 공유함으로써 교류협력사업을 통해 과학기술에 근간한 한국의 경제성장 경험을 공유함으로써 개도국들의 발전을 돕고 개도국과 선진국 사이에서 가교 역할을 수행하였습니다.
